MISSION STATEMENT
Before starting any construction project, when thinking about remodeling or putting on an addition, or in need for plans for creating a new home, first you will need a great design. Michael Hyman of MH Designs & Concepts brings 35+ years of experience in design, construction knowledge, space planning and functionality while working with you to come up with a design you will love. Upon initial consultation, MH Designs & Concepts will provide 5-10 design concepts for your review. You will be provided with solutions and new possibilities that go above and beyond your expectations. At our initial meeting, I will listen to you and your requirements to design plans to meet your needs, whether it is a small or major renovation project, new home design or a remodel for your kitchen or bathroom. Renovating your home doesn’t always mean that you have to build additions, and in some instances, it is possible to rearrange existing square footages to achieve your goals and save you time and money. Too often I have met with clients that have designs drawn by expensive architects and designers that did not come close to what the homeowner was asking for. This goes against my core priority in listening, to provide you with a design you both need and want, a design you will love and enjoy. Obviously, there are many questions that need to be answered beyond, “how many bedrooms and bathrooms, how large is the kitchen or how many square feet?” Because no two families are identical, no two designs will be the same. Reviewing your budget information will allow me to design plans that you can truly afford to build. Listening, understanding your goals and budget will allow me to come up with the perfect design and afterwards, reviewing the designs with you will allow us to make any appropriate revisions if necessary and finalize the design of your dreams. Designing fees average from $500-$2,500 depending on size and complexity of the project. Additional fees will apply if changes are made after drawings have been finalized. Once the design is completed, I have the ability to provide you with complete construction drawings. My design experience, knowledge of construction, space planning, functionality, my design capability and caring about you and your family’s needs is the formula that sets me apart from others.
